We’re working with a Bournemouth-based Managed Service Provider looking for a Desktop Engineer to join their growing service desk team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in IT support within a hands-on MSP environment.
You’ll be responsible for preparing, configuring and deploying customer devices across desktops, laptops, mobiles and tablets, while also supporting the wider service desk team when required.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and deploying Windows desktops, laptops, mobiles and tablets
- Provisioning devices using Microsoft Intune / Autopilot
- Installing operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications and endpoint security tools
- Managing asset records, stock and lifecycle documentation
- Supporting hardware refreshes, repairs and decommissioning
- Preparing and shipping equipment to end users
- Providing 1st line support cover during busy periods
- Logging and managing tickets through ConnectWise
- Escalating issues to 2nd line support with clear documentation
