We’re currently working with a growing Microsoft-focused IT services business that’s built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality cloud and infrastructure solutions alongside exceptional customer service. They’re now looking for a Cloud Services & Infrastructure Lead to join the business in a key technical leadership role, helping drive both their cloud capability and their next phase of growth into AI-led consulting services.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership, customer engagement, and project delivery. You’ll play a major role in shaping technical direction internally while working closely with customers on modern Microsoft cloud solutions.

The Opportunity

You’ll lead across a broad range of cloud and infrastructure technologies while mentoring junior engineers and helping deliver projects across Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, security, virtualisation, and modern workplace technologies. The business is also investing heavily into Cloud + AI services and sees this role evolving into a more consultative position over time, helping customers adopt AI technologies and modern cloud-first solutions. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, wants more ownership, and likes working in an environment where your ideas and technical input genuinely matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Cloud Services & Infrastructure team
  • Deliver cloud and infrastructure projects from design through to implementation
  • Act as a senior technical escalation point across cloud, networking, security, and infrastructure
  • Support and optimise Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Work closely with customers on technical solutions and project delivery
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives and best practices
  • Oversee virtualisation, backup, disaster recovery, and remote access technologies
  • Help shape and grow the company’s Cloud + AI consulting capability
