This is an opportunity to join a long-established and fast-growing UK-based Managed Service Provider delivering modern Microsoft security solutions to a broad customer base. As part of the Security team, you’ll play a key role in protecting customer environments, responding to incidents, and improving overall security and compliance posture across Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid infrastructures. This is a hands-on senior role - not purely advisory - with real responsibility for incident response, platform monitoring, customer projects, and mentoring junior analysts.
The Role
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents across customer environments
- Act as a senior escalation point within the Security team, providing guidance and mentoring to other analysts
- Deliver security reviews and assessments to improve customer security and compliance posture
- Support and implement Microsoft 365 and Azure security solutions
- Work on customer-facing security projects such as MFA deployments and targeted consultancy engagements
- Monitor and manage the output of multiple security platforms and tooling
- Contribute to the planning, deployment, and improvement of security solutions and processes
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We’re Looking For Must-Haves:
- Proven experience delivering security solutions within a Microsoft-focused environment
- Strong background working in an MSP or multi-customer environment
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 security, Azure security, and modern workplace tooling
- Experience reviewing security estates and implementing Cyber Essentials (Standard and Plus)
- Solid understanding of security best practices, incident response, and risk mitigation
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for cyber and information security
- Comfortable mentoring others and acting as a technical escalation point
- Experience working with ISO 27001 frameworks
- Vulnerability scanning and penetration testing deployment and remediation experience
- Exposure to hybrid or on-prem infrastructure alongside Azure
- Experience delivering customer-facing security consultancy

Working Pattern
