We\’re hiring a Head of Recruitment to fully own our Cloud Bridge Tech Recruitment (CBTR) function. This is a unique opportunity to build and grow a specialist recruitment business within Cloud Bridge, focused on sourcing top-tier tech talent for AWS-aligned roles.
You’ll lead our external recruitment offering, from developing new client relationships to placing candidates into high-demand cloud and tech roles. You’ll work closely with the Alliances Manager at Cloud Bridge, partners, and customers to become their go-to recruiter for AWS-related hiring needs.
This role is perfect for someone who is entrepreneurial, commercially sharp and wants to create something of their own. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the strategy, build the brand, and scale the function, backed by the Cloud Bridge name and network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and grow a pipeline of clients hiring for AWS-related skill sets
- Lead the full 360 recruitment lifecycle: client engagement, sourcing, screening, and placement
- Drive new business development through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals
- Manage and grow existing client accounts
- Build talent pools across AWS-aligned roles (e.g., Cloud Engineers, DevOps, Solutions Architects, FinOps)
- Represent CBTR at AWS partner events, industry meetups, and recruitment forums
- Define and build the recruitment team as the function scales
- Set and track performance KPIs and commercial targets
- Support the Cloud Bridge Alliances Manager in go-to-market efforts with AWS
Qualifications
- Proven success in agency-side tech recruitment
- Strong track record in business development and revenue generation
- Deep understanding of recruitment best practices and market trends
Experience
- 3–5+ years in a 360 recruitment role
- Strong history of placing candidates in cloud, tech, or IT roles
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for AWS-aligned skill sets
- Proven ability to manage client pipelines and close deals independently
- Experience working with or recruiting for AWS partners/customers
- Comfortable using CRMs and recruitment tools to manage process and pipeline
- Mentoring team members or managing a small team
- Strong client-facing, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles and deliver at pace
- Commercially focused with a growth mindset
- Technically confident in understanding cloud job specs and translating them into candidate requirements
- Self-starter comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Familiarity with AWS partner ecosystem and industry terminology
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and recruitment marketing tactics
- Existing network within the UK cloud/tech talent space
