Senior Systems Administrator (Windows / VMware)
South West London, hybrid
Up to £60,000 + 17.9% employer pension + 35 days holiday + bank holidays!
I'm working with a large public sector organisation in South West London on a Senior Server and Storage Specialist hire for their Technical Platforms team.
What you'll be doing
- Server management and provisioning, physical and virtual
- Windows Server and Active Directory, including domain controllers
- VMware admin (vCenter, vSphere, HA/DRS)
- SAN storage, backup and recovery, data centre ops
- Working with other teams across the organisation on upgrades and new systems
- Monitoring, patching and server hardening
- Out-of-hours on-call rota
What they need
- Strong Windows Server and AD
- Good hands-on VMware
- SAN/storage and enterprise backup experience
- Monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Nagios
Nice to have
- AWS or Ansible
- ITIL Foundation
