Infrastructure Engineer - Up to £500 per day - Inside IR35 (6 months with potential 2 year project)
There is the option of 3/4 days per week (Part time). Fully Remote in UK. Must hold or be willing to undergo BPSS check.
Working for an Insurance sector client in the UK on a long term project.
Required skills:
- Provide a point of escalation and support for the Desktop Support Group as well as systems engineers.
- Monitor Windows Server 2016-2025 (Logic Monitor) servers and troubleshoot problems.
- Knowledge of SCCM as Windows 11 and Servers patching tool.
- Knowledge of Patch My PC with SCCM and InTune.
- Enforce change management and compliance processes.
- Work as a technical engineer on assigned projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft InTune for management of cloud native laptops.
- Scripting with PowerShell.
Nice to have:
- Support, maintain and administer third party applications including Microsoft Cloud products (O365, Azure, Teams).
- Support and maintain VMware VDI Horizon desktop environments with flash storage.
- Support and maintain Azure Entra ID, Windows AD, DNS, GPOs.
- Knowledge of Windows Server Core OS.
- Support and maintain VMware clusters.
- Administration of Azure permissions, IaaS and PaaS.
- Knowledge of TerraForm with Azure.
- Knowledge of CyberArk.
- Support and maintain SQL Server and BI environments.
