We are seeking an experienced Head of Technology to lead and scale our clients technology function in a fast-growing Fintech organisation. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping technology strategy, delivery, and team performance across the business.
The Role
As Head of Technology, you will own the end-to-end technology landscape, leading a high-performing division and ensuring platforms, systems, and teams are aligned to business goals. You will work closely with the executive team to drive growth, stability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the technology function, ideally have managed technology functions/teams of 30–70 people
- Define and execute the technology strategy aligned to business objectives
- Oversee cloud platforms with AWS as the primary cloud provider (Azure/GCP also considered)
- Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable systems across the organisation
- Build strong engineering, DevOps, and delivery practices
- Manage budgets, vendors, and technology roadmaps
- Mentor senior leaders and support team growth at scale
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Head of Technology, Head of Engineering, or similar
- Previous experience working in an organisation of 100–200 headcount
- Demonstrated leadership of a technology function of 30–70 people
- Strong experience operating in a cloud first-centric environment
- Experience scaling teams, platforms, and processes
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience in shaping and leading technology at a senior level
