Cloud 9 are working on a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join an award-winning packaging solutions company based in Yorkshire! This is an exciting and varied position where you will be office-based and responsible for new business costings, managing quotations and tenders, and collaborating with senior management. If you’re looking for a new and rewarding challenge with progression opportunities within an innovative and supportive organisation, please read on: The Role As Commercial Analyst you will be proactive in seeking opportunities that will increase profitability into the company. You will work closely with external sales, technical and design evaluating sales performance, analysing sale trends and financial data. You will also be responsible for sourcing and costing new business opportunities, managing quotations and preparing tenders to discuss with senior management, and provide business analysis reports to management and commercial tools to support KPIs. You will provide commercial information and negotiation aids to the sales team, and update the costing systems. The Person We are eager to hear from candidates with a manufacturing background who are proficient in Excel and preferably have a good knowledge of Power BI. You will be analytical and have an excellent understanding of financial data. Experience in negotiation, preparing quotations, pricings and tenders is essential. You will have excellent communication skills on all levels as you will be collaborating with senior management.
