Are you interested in using your digital skills to support a charity working to address clothing poverty across the UK?

Clothing Collective are looking for a volunteer to support the ongoing development and coordination of our Insights website pages.

At Clothing Collective, our story began in 2018, when we set out to assist those in our society facing difficulties in clothing themselves.

We wanted to bridge the gap between the vast resources available across the country and those who had little or no access to them.

Over the past eight years, we have become a recognised leader in providing access to clothing by connecting people in need with existing stock held by charity shops.

In 2024, we entered an exciting new chapter as a charity, revitalising and refocusing our mission.

We are strengthening our offer and empowering our partners and volunteers to help achieve our goals.

We are now seeking passionate individuals to join our team on a voluntary basis and help us grow to the next level.

Through this role, you will help ensure that our website serves as a reliable, well-maintained resource for supporters, partners, and the wider public.

Your contribution to our website management will help us reach more people with clear, evidence-based information about clothing poverty, strengthening the visibility and credibility of our charity and goals.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience working with Website Content Management Systems (Wix, Wordpress, Squarespace, etc.) (Essential)
  • An eye for detail and a methodical and thorough working style.
  • Excellent project management and delivery skills, with the ability to manage your workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • The confidence and experience to take initiative and ownership across the projects you are involved in.
  • Preferably, some experience of working in a small, remote team.

We know not everyone will meet every requirement listed above, and we still encourage you to apply if you believe you would be a strong fit for the role.

What will you be doing?

As Insights Publishing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the uploading and publishing of our Insights content.

You will administer and maintain the Insights section of our website, coordinating with other volunteers to upload and publish new material.

This is a collaborative volunteer role working alongside other members of the team, including writers, researchers, and marketing.

You will play a key part in shaping how our work is presented online by ensuring our content is uploaded, accessible, well-structured, and optimised for reach and impact.
