About Clothes Cycle

Company: Clothes Cycle & The Poppy Archive

Location: Dalston, London (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Β£26,000–£30,000 per year, depending on experience

Start Date: Dec 2026 or January 2027 (flexible)

Clothes Cycle is on a mission to make secondhand fashion more exciting, accessible and social.

What started as a series of preloved fashion markets has grown into a touring events brand, bringing together thousands of fashion lovers, independent sellers and creatives across the UK and Ireland.

We're a small, ambitious, all-female team of four based in Dalston, London, and we're looking for a talented Content Creator & Video Editor to help us take our content to the next level.

About the Role

First and foremost, we're looking for an exceptional video editor.

Someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, knows how to tell a story through video and can turn raw footage into genuinely engaging content.

Youll be creating everything from fast-paced TikToks and Instagram Reels to longer-form YouTube videos, behind-scenes content, event recaps and creative campaigns.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just follow trends but comes up with original ideas, understands internet culture and has a genuine interest in fashion, creativity and storytelling.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of creative freedom. You'll be involved in everything from brainstorming concepts to filming, editing and analysing performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Video editing: Creating high-quality, engaging short-form and long-form videos, with a particular focus on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube.
  • Content creation: Filming at events, in the office and behind the scenes, capturing the energy and personality of Clothes Cycle.
  • Creative storytelling: Developing original video concepts, attention-grabbing hooks and engaging narratives.
  • Social media: Contributing ideas to our content strategy, identifying emerging trends and analysing what performs well.
  • Graphic design: Creating eye-catching social media graphics, promotional assets and other visuals using Canva or similar tools.
  • On-camera content: Occasionally appearing in videos, conducting interviews and helping bring creative concepts to life.
  • Campaigns: Collaborating with the wider team to create exciting content around event launches, ticket sales, partnerships and new projects.

Who We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Excellent video editing skills and a portfolio demonstrating your work.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form video storytelling.
  • Experience with professional editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
  • A great eye for visuals, pacing, sound, transitions and typography.
  • Confidence filming high-quality content independently.
  • Someone bursting with creative ideas who can take a concept from start to finish.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for fashion, social media and creative culture.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience editing longer-form YouTube content.
  • Photography and graphic design skills.
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience appearing on camera or interviewing people.
  • An understanding of social media analytics and content performance.
  • Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, events or creative brands.

Why Join Us?

We're a small team with big ambitions, and you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the creative direction of a growing brand.

You'll work across fashion, events, social media and creative campaigns, with opportunities to experiment, bring your own ideas to life and see your work reach thousands of people.

If you love fashion, live and breathe content, and want to be part of building something exciting, we'd love to hear from you.
