WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a Treasury professional with experience in bank reconciliations, cash management, and multi-currency operations to join our Finance team based in Coventry. You’ll report to the Treasury Manager and play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial operations, supporting both UK and international banking activities.

THE ROLE:

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare bank reconciliations across 100+ accounts in 5 currencies (GBP, EUR, USD, SGD, CNY, HKD) for both UK and overseas entities.

Investigate and resolve reconciling items, addressing root causes to prevent recurrence.

Serve as primary contact for banks regarding servicing matters.

Process financial documentation and inter-company cash transactions.

Prepare and manage treasury operation reports, including bank balance reports and the 13-week cash flow forecast.

Create and execute bank transfers/payments via online banking platforms.

Upload and manage bank statement files.

Collaborate with the wider Finance team on business practices and highlight cashflow implications.

Support the integration of new acquisitions from a treasury perspective.

Maintain and improve treasury procedures and processes.

Assist with group and overseas audits, ensuring year-end compliance.

Respond to ad-hoc information requests and support the wider team in meeting internal deadlines.

ABOUT YOU:

Skills & Competencies:

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial issues to non-finance stakeholders.

Intermediate Excel skills; experience with Unit 4 is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Solid understanding of basic accounting and double entry.

Process-focused with a mindset for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

Background in basic accountancy or bookkeeping (specifically double-entry systems).

Proven experience working in a treasury function.

Strong track record of meeting monthly reporting deadlines.

Experience with multi-currency operations.

Familiarity with both manual and system-based bank reconciliations.

A clear understanding of finance processes with the ability to suggest enhancements.
