WHO WE ARE:
At CloserStill, we strive to deliver the best. We are on a mission to be the most dynamic B2B events and communities business in every market we serve, bringing people together to learn, connect and grow. Operating across five regions, we power over 200 market-leading events, publications and brands across Business Technologies, Healthcare, Learning, HR & Education, and Future Transport & Infrastructure. But what truly sets us apart is our people.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a UX Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, human‐centred experiences across complex digital ecosystems. You enjoy solving real user problems, simplifying journeys, and designing seamless experiences that feel connected and personalised. You are a strong collaborator who can influence across teams, balance user needs with business goals, and bring clarity to complex challenges. You thrive in environments where you can shape experiences end‐to‐end and make a measurable impact.
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a UX Designer to shape and own the end‐to‐end delegate, client (exhibitor/sponsor), and internal customer experience across CloserStill's ecosystem of tools, technologies, and applications. This role focuses on designing a unified, human‐centred journey, from the first touchpoint through to post‐event engagement, ensuring experiences feel simple, personalised, and connected across all platforms. You will work across registration, event apps, websites, onsite technologies, and internal platforms to remove friction, improve clarity, and foster meaningful human connections at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and designing the end‐to‐end delegate and visitor experience across the digital ecosystem
- Creating cohesive and consistent UX across multiple products and touchpoints
- Leading UX thinking to simplify registration flows and improve conversion
- Designing personalisation strategies to enhance relevance for different audience groups
- Mapping customer journeys and service blueprints to identify pain points and opportunities
- Creating high‐fidelity prototypes to validate concepts and communicate design intent
- Translating user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into intuitive experiences
- Collaborating with Product, Technology, Marketing, Operations, and Event teams
- Conducting user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions
- Producing wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to clearly communicate solutions
- Championing accessibility, inclusive design, and UX best practices
- Supporting the evolution of design systems and standards for scalability and consistency
ABOUT YOU:
- Proven experience designing UX for complex digital products or platforms
- Strong understanding of user‐centred design, journey mapping, and service design
- Experience designing across ecosystems rather than single products
- Ability to balance user needs with commercial and operational realities
- Comfortable working cross‐functionally and influencing without authority
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly
- Proficiency with tools such as Figma, FigJam, Sketch, or similar
- A portfolio demonstrating end‐to‐end UX thinking and problem‐solving
Nice to have:
- Experience in events, marketplaces, SaaS, or large‐scale consumer platforms
- Familiarity with CRM systems, registration platforms, event apps, or identity management
We do not offer sponsorship for this role. CloserStill Media reserves the right to request a DBS or credit check should the role require it.
