Position Overview
The Technology Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful delivery, governance and visibility of technology initiatives across CloserStill Media. Working across Product, CRM, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations and external suppliers, this role ensures projects are aligned to business priorities, customer needs and commercial objectives. The successful candidate will become a trusted partner to both technology and business stakeholders, providing structure, accountability and clear communication across all stages of delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technology projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, milestones and accountability throughout.
- Maintain visibility across project progress, proactively managing risks, dependencies and blockers while keeping stakeholders aligned.
- Ensure all projects have clear objectives, user problems, intended outcomes, success measures and next steps.
- Work closely with Product, CRM and Engineering teams to support Agile and sprint‑based delivery while maintaining focus on business outcomes.
- Facilitate project planning sessions, delivery reviews, stakeholder meetings and project checkpoints.
- Own project reporting across the Technology function, providing clear and concise updates to senior leadership, including the Chief Data & Technology Officer, Head of CX Technology, Head of CRM and Head of Engineering.
- Ensure reporting covers objectives, progress, delivery confidence, commercial impact, risks, blockers, dependencies and upcoming priorities.
- Create reporting that can be easily understood by both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted point of contact for project delivery.
- Act as the bridge between technology teams and operational stakeholders, translating business requirements into clear deliverables and outcomes.
- Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring commitments are met and issues are resolved quickly.
- Drive accountability across stakeholders and accelerate risks where appropriate.
- Develop a strong understanding of CloserStill’s events, customer journeys, exhibitors, sponsors and commercial objectives.
- Ensure projects remain focused on delivering measurable business value, customer benefits and operational improvements.
- Support business case development, ROI tracking and post‑project reviews where required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing multiple projects within technology, digital or business environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience producing executive‑level reporting and project updates.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to understand business objectives and customer outcomes.
- Confidence managing suppliers, dependencies and competing priorities.
- Experience with project management platforms such as Asana, Jira or similar tools.
- Experience within events, exhibitions, SaaS or B2B environments is advantageous but not essential.
