We’re on a mission to be the most dynamic B2B events and communities business in every market we serve, bringing people together to learn, connect and grow.

Operating across five regions, we power over 200 market-leading events, publications and brands across Business Technologies, Healthcare, Learning, HR & Education, and Future Transport & Infrastructure.

Joining Closer Still means being part of something bigger - not just building events, but creating opportunities, connections, and lasting value for the communities we serve.

IMRG is one of our brands, a leading e Commerce association helping retailers, brands, and technology providers navigate the industry.

You'll be joining a team that runs market-leading data, events, insights, and an established community platform.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We're after someone who can do two things at once: think creatively about marketing and obsess over the numbers.

You'll drive lead generation and membership growth for IMRG, but you'll also own the marketing strategy, identifying new opportunities, testing what works, and shaping how the brand evolves as e Commerce changes.

Drive Demand & Build Membership Create integrated campaigns (email, content, social, webinars) that move prospects from awareness to conversion Work closely with the commercial team to understand what "qualified" looks like, then deliver it Test messaging, audiences, channels continuously — keep what works, ditch what doesn't Build nurture sequences that move prospects through the funnel Own the Growth Strategy Build an annual marketing plan that actually moves the dial on membership and revenue Identify new audience segments and map out acquisition journeys Find cross-sell opportunities across IMRG's product suite Think long-term sustainability, not one-off wins Turn Data Into Demand Work with analysts and content experts to turn their insights into lead-gen campaigns Create thought leadership, reports, webinar content, and sales materials from IMRG's data Build data-led social content that drives engagement Make IMRG's expertise impossible to ignore Keep the Community Engaged Build year-round strategies that keep people connected through events, webinars, reports, and community initiatives Understand who's engaging, what matters to them, and what should happen next Develop campaigns around membership benefits and networking opportunities Measure Everything Monitor website conversion, email engagement, lead quality, cost per lead, membership enquiries Track marketing-influenced pipeline and revenue Use insights to constantly optimise where you invest time and money Report performance against clear KPIs ABOUT YOU: Experience: Background in demand generation, growth marketing, or B2B lead generation (Marketing Manager level or equivalent)Proven track record running integrated digital campaigns Strong understanding of customer journeys and conversion funnels Comfortable with CRM platforms (Hub Spot experience essential) and marketing automation Event experience is a bonus, not a requirement Skills & Mindset: Data-comfortable — you use numbers to make decisions, not gut feel Strong copywriting and messaging skills Can juggle multiple campaigns and priorities without dropping anything Balance creative thinking with commercial focus Curious about what's changing in e Commerce and how to stay ahead We do not usually offer sponsership for this role.
