WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Closer Still Media is looking for a French‑speaking Senior Marketing Executive to join the marketing team in the Hammersmith Office in London.

The purpose of this role is to help develop and deliver the marketing strategy that promotes our events to delegates and exhibitors.

You will be a creative, self‑motivated individual who loves working alongside a great team and across the full marketing mix of channels.

THE ROLE

You will work on a fast‑growing B2B tech event dedicated to HR and Learning professionals.

  • Work with the Group Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager and Event Director, plus the wider team, to develop and implement marketing strategy, positioning, key messages and product strategy.
  • Execute the marketing campaign(s) and report on effectiveness and results, ensuring all elements achieve required performance criteria.
  • Driving the creative/design process for marketing materials.

This includes the update and development of existing materials plus the creation of new materials in line with the marketing strategy.

  • Work with the sales team to create sales campaigns focused on both new client growth and increased client retention.

This includes messaging to drive revenue across all products, such as digital, sponsorships, and future revenue opportunities.

  • Develop strategic audience development plans and ensure marketing communications accurately reflect event positioning and key messaging.

Be the lead in messaging and writing regarding our outbound reach to our customers.

  • Collaborate with partners and sponsors to develop integrated marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies and compelling materials for all revenue streams across live and digital products.
  • Collaborate with the Content Team to integrate the conference programme into marketing plans to maximise visitor acquisition.
  • Oversee and execute community‑building and social media strategies that drive engagement, interaction, and brand affinity and could improve the audience experience.
  • Manage all planning and execution of the registration process for visitors.
  • Database management, list management, and development with the support of business intelligence and data teams.
  • Responsible for the delivery of all delegates, visitors, and attendees’ revenue generation, plus development of attendee/delegate pricing strategies.

ABOUT YOU

You’re dynamic, proactive and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where things move fast.

  • Irreproachable written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to understand and execute marketing plans, bringing creative input and ensuring alignment with the overall strategy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver them on time and on budget.
  • Strong skills across key systems and tools — including CRM and CMS platforms, social media tools, email marketing and marketing automation software like Hub Spot.
  • Experience working with the fundamentals of digital marketing and being able to apply digital principles to campaigns effectively.
  • Have something to teach us about social media.

We are seeking someone looking for an opportunity to join a marketing‑led company that invests in its brands.

We particularly want to see evidence of contributing to the development of marketing plans.

Experience in marketing events is not a prerequisite, but the candidate must demonstrate extensive project management experience.

Closer Still Media reserves the right to request a DBS or credit check should the role require it.
