We're looking for an energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts to sell sponsorship packages for our UK-based premium networking events in the Public Sector. This role can be based in either our London or Crawley office, and is predominantly office-based with flexibility available following successful completion of probation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achievement, commission, and making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
The role:
- Close and repeat high-value sponsorship sales
- Plan and engage with KPIs across activity and closed sales
- Develop relationships with decision-makers to build accounts
- On-site face-to-face client management and event execution
- Identify and secure new clients with major account potential
- Manage and update your sales pipeline within Salesforce (CRM)
- Gather product and company feedback from clients and prospects
About you:
- Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, ideally within event sponsorship.
- Proven track record of winning new business and managing existing client accounts.
- Able to sell a concept and take a consultative sales approach.
- Comfortable working US hours when required.
- Experienced across multiple sales platforms, including telephone, email, social, and in-person.
