You will play a key role in the development and the creation of 3D visual assets that are cohesive, culturally relevant, and strategically aligned to CLOSER’s creative vision.
Responsibilities
- Design spatial concepts for facades, windows, pop-ups, retail activations, exhibitions, and brand experiences.
- Translate brand stories and creative ideas into immersive 3D environments, layouts, and physical installations.
- Develop core assets including spatial design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and comprehensive presentation decks.
- Produce technical deliverables such as detailed design drawings, 3D models, and high-quality visualizations to facilitate development and approval.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative Directors, Strategists, and Engagement teams to align spatial designs with brand and campaign objectives.
- Manage production quality by working with fabricators, suppliers, and production teams to ensure design intent is executed to a high standard.
- Synthesize technical elements including materials, finishes, lighting, scale, and customer flow into every design.
- Oversee execution by supporting on-site installation, build-outs, and final styling as required.
- Uphold luxury standards to ensure all work meets rigorous benchmarks for craft, detail, and finish.
- Maintain industry knowledge regarding spatial design trends, materials, fabrication techniques, and emerging technologies.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in spatial, environmental, or experiential design, ideally within the fashion or luxury sectors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing facade and window design, retail activations, installations, or experiential projects.
- Advanced spatial design skills specifically for retail environments, supported by expert visual research techniques.
- Concept sketching ability to illustrate novel ideas through hand-drawn sketches and drawings.
- 3D tool proficiency in industry-standard software such as Rhino, SketchUp, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
- High-quality rendering experience using engines like KeyShot, V-Ray, or equivalent tools.
- Technical production knowledge including a strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and production processes.
- Design sensibility with an excellent eye for scale, proportion, detail, and storytelling within physical environments.
- Communication skills to confidently present spatial concepts and design rationale to internal teams and clients.
- Project management capability to handle multiple projects and collaborate effectively in fast-paced, creative environments.
