The Role
We are looking for a Graphic Design Lead to drive creative excellence across a diverse portfolio of luxury fashion, lifestyle, and tech clients. This role sits at the intersection of concept, craft, and leadership. You will own the visual graphic direction of our projects, ensuring that brand narratives are translated into compelling visual systems that live across digital, print, and physical space. You will work in close partnership with Art Directors, Strategists, and the Experiential team to shape brand worlds from early concept through to final production. This role blends hands-on design mastery with team mentorship and brand stewardship.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the graphic direction across branding, campaigns, digital, social, and experiential projects, ensuring an elevated visual language.
- Translate brand strategy into compelling, culturally relevant design systems whilst always pushing creative thinking.
- Partner with Experiential and Art Direction teams to ensure 2D design systems are seamlessly integrated into 3D environments and immersive moments.
- Confidently present creative concepts and design rationale to senior clients and internal stakeholders.
- Inspire, manage, and mentor designers at varying levels, providing clear creative direction and fostering professional growth.
- Review and elevate all graphic output to ensure it meets CLOSER’s rigorous benchmarks for typography, layout, and luxury finish.
- Balance multiple projects while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring all work is production-ready across high-end print formats and digital platforms.
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong preference for high-end agency environments.
- Experience managing creative teams and navigating the complexities of high-velocity, multi-project environments.
- An exceptional portfolio showcasing work for visually-led brands, specifically within the fashion, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
- Exceptional skills in typography, grid systems, layout, and visual storytelling.
- A deep understanding of how brand systems evolve across multi-channel environments (Digital, Social, Print, Retail).
- The ability to think beyond 2D; working with motion and 3D creatives to elevate static design into dynamic brand experiences.
- Highly confident leading creative conversations and presenting to senior-level clients.
- High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a strong understanding of modern design tools and production techniques.
