Our client, an international engineering organisation with a base near Winchester, is now looking to recruit a Design Engineer (3D) to join the business on a permanent basis.
Primary Role Functions:
To create/generate/design 3D assemblies from preliminary layout drawings and concepts with the aim to then produce 2D GA and detail drawings for fabrication.
Job requirements:
Hold clean UK driving license.
A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar related degree).
5+ years related job experience.
Strong fundamental knowledge of mechanical design and its application in industrial designs including knowledge / specification of hydraulic systems, motors & mechanical systems.
Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in team environment.
Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals.
Proactive, resourceful & highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment.
Travel as required to support projects.
