Join the Close Brothers Workplace Team where you will be responsible for the effective delivery and continuous improvement of facilities services across Close Brothers Limited including ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant operation of mailrooms, mechanical and electrical services, cleaning, security and catering across the Close Brothers portfolio. Working as part of the Workplace team our ideal team member will have previous experience in driving best practice across all facilities services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies and industry standards, while also supporting the delivery of cost‑effective and sustainable solutions with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall client experience within the operational spaces, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery.
  • Ensure third‑party suppliers deliver services in line with contractual obligations, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Bank standards, monitoring KPI performance and applying contractual remedies or financial deductions where required.
  • Set the tone within the function/business by encouraging an all‑encompassing culture and role modelling the company values and expected behaviours.
  • Identify, develop and deliver cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities across hard and soft services.
  • Produce and maintain accurate reporting relating to Facilities performance, budgets, Health & Safety, compliance actions and operational risks.
  • Manage and monitor energy consumption and spend across assigned locations, supporting efficiency improvements and cost control.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, statutory obligations and internal policies across all managed sites.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

As a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Substantial experience working in Facilities
  • Excellent management skills with a proven track record of leading engaged teams
  • Demonstrable ability to work using own initiative, judgement and discretion
  • IOSH Level 2 or 3
  • Managed diverse teams
