Join Close Brothers Motor Finance Team as a Product Owner where you will be accountable for maximising the value realised through the salesforce.com platform and defining the explicit vision, strategy and goals, aligned to the wider objectives of Close Brother Retail Bank.
Our Salesforce Product Owner will oversee the gathering, prioritisation and delivery of both continuous improvement and strategic change requirements across all Salesforce technologies, ensuring transparent communication and management of the roadmap. The Salesforce Product Owner will act as the primary interface into business stakeholders and will support decision making with regards to Salesforce investment and focus across the business. Our ideal candidate will be able to display excellent interpersonal skills which is important for developing relationships with Salesforce and other Salesforce solution providers to understand their roadmaps and identify how Close Brothers can utilise them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary figurehead of the Retail CRM team.
- Own and shape the Retail CRM vision and strategy to reflect future target models.
- Drive proactive communication about the benefits and value of Salesforce.
- Encourage collaboration and capture business demand and requirements.
- Oversee and own objective, aligned prioritisation of the CRM backlog.
- Embed agile practices and ensure wider business awareness of ways of working.
- Adapt and develop the delivery model to transition from project into a continuous delivery methodology.
- Demonstrate ongoing commercial value and benefit against the Salesforce continuous delivery pipeline.
- Build a retail Salesforce roadmap that underpins business objectives and seeks to keep our retail relationship management practices as best in class.
- Continuously measure and drive improvements to platform adoption, usage, training and engagement.
- Develop close relationships and aligned ways of working with the change and technology teams in order to maximise delivery impact.
- Ensure that all governance and compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the regulatory bodies are carried out to the standards required.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
- Extensive experience of the Salesforce.com platform.
- Experience working with Salesforce ISV partners.
- Experience working in a B2B sales environment, supporting both telephony and field-based sales teams.
- Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of the Agile methodology.
- Direct experience of working as a product owner.
- The ability to prioritise and focus in a rapidly evolving environment.
- The ability to communicate at all levels, in both technical and business modes.
- Strong analytical ability and data driven decision maker with a strategic mind-set.
- Proven ability to manage a large stakeholder network effectively and collaboratively in a complex, matrix environment comprised of diverse roles and interests.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and relationships at all levels.
- The ability to work both openly and collaboratively with a team.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:
- A Scrum Product Owner Certification advantageous or other Agile qualifications.
- Salesforce certification at admin and sales cloud consultant desirable.
