Join Close Brothers Savings division where you will be responsible for assisting with the production and evolution of MI within Savings. This will include reporting into existing and prospective savings customers to inform actionable insights as well as production of other regular management information (MI). This will be achieved through analysis of both internal customer data and external data sources through use of Alteryx, Tableau and PowerBI. Close Brothers Savings is focused on delivering quality products and services to our customers and therefore this is a key role within the team.

As a Savings Analyst you will be involved in enhancing our understanding of our proposition and customer base through meaningful MI. This role will require you to work with various stakeholders across Product and the wider Savings team, with a focus on production of MI through assessment of business requirements. This role provides opportunity to help assist with the 3–5-year Savings roadmap to deliver the organisation's growth ambitions.

  • Customer Insight
    • Building customer segments and performing analysis by segment
    • Using advanced analytic models to predict customer behaviours and gain deeper understanding of customer needs for example: Rollover behaviour, Propensity modelling, Sensitivity to price changes
    • Focus on findings with the greatest customer and or commercial impact
  • Reporting
    • Production and evolution of regular and ad-hoc management information to support business decisions
    • Analysis to measure success of new products and channel initiatives
  • Opportunity
    • Support Business Development Team through automation of manual reporting
    • Promote adoption of self-service data culture across Savings
  • People and Stakeholders
    • Present the findings in a way that is easy to be understood by a non-technical audience and iterate models and documentation based on feedback
    • Work with IT and other teams to transfer and embed data models/ analytics into business as usual (BAU)

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Understanding and experience of analytics and data visualisation tools, including PowerBI, Tableau and Alteryx
  • Knowledge and experience using Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Extremely high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to package ideas and results in a logical, understandable, and compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Passionate about data and modelling, and how it could be used to improve customer experience and business performance
  • Experience in training mentoring colleagues with certain skill sets
  • Financial services experience
