Join the Close Brothers Experience Strategy & Design Team where you will support the design of intuitive digital products that meet user needs and business objectives. Working as part of the Strategy & Design team our ideal team member will have previous experience in applying conceptual thinking to create digital services across multiple platforms, bringing together user needs, business goals and technical realities with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop design concepts using user centric design methods to evaluate and reimagine existing processes and customer touch points.
  • Promote explorative and evaluative research initiatives, alongside other designers.
  • Promote the creation of service concepts that illustrate the options and different approaches that can be taken to deliver a service.
  • Propose how current experiences will evolve over time as we improve outcomes, drive operational efficiencies and improve controls.
  • Support with the handover of design into development, providing necessary documentation and assurance to ensure desired outcome is met.
  • Develop and drive the adoption of design and accessibility standards ensuring our digital channels are highly usable, accessible and web optimised.
  • Work in partnership with Risk, Legal and Compliance to deliver the best user experience whilst still meeting regulatory and legal needs.
We would love to hear from you if you have/are:
  • Demonstratable experience designing digital products.
  • Ability to create concepts, low and high‑fidelity designs, production ready visual designs, and interactive prototypes.
  • Skilled in use of design and prototyping software such as Figma, Principle, and Miro.
  • Experience working with technical teams, and basic knowledge of front‑end development standards and practices.
  • Experience applying user centred design methods and design frameworks (such as Google Sprint, Design Thinking, and WCAG) to design for complex problems.
  • Experience in conducting and acting on user research is an advantage.
It is not essential but it would be great if you have:
  • Experience in Financial Services sector.
  • Basic comprehension of digital marketing practices and techniques.
  • Demonstrable skills in illustration, information visualisation and iconography.
