Join the Close Brothers Investor Relations & Corporate Development team where you will play a key role in the delivery of the group’s IR programme during a period of transition for the team. Working as part of the Investor Relations & Marketing team our ideal team member will have previous experience in acting as a key point of contact for analysts and investors and ensuring effective communication of investor feedback and other market developments internally with excellent financial literacy and technical ability.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the group’s investor relations programme, maintaining the quality and consistency of the group’s interaction with analysts, investors, and other financial market participants.
  • Monitor share price, valuation and share register movements and report on these to the wider IR team, Management and the Board.
  • Liaise with corporate brokers and advisors on potential investor targeting activity.
  • Act as a point of contact for the group’s PR advisers including the handling of media enquiries.
  • Review and monitor investor feedback and analyst research, reporting the market’s views to the executive team and the Board.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance is adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
  • As a line manager, you will be accountable for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take duty for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.
We Would Love to Hear from You if You Have/Are
  • A proven track record in investor relations at Manager level or above, ideally gained in the Financial Services sector in a UK plc.
  • Experience of managing the IR programme of a listed company.
  • Proven experience of drafting financial results and other announcements.
  • A focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Confident in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.

  • Professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA).
