Join the Close Brothers Risk Team where you will lead on the design and maintenance of policies that enable the safe and effective execution of remediation strategies to address customer harms. Working as part of the Customer Resolution team our ideal team member will have previous experience in remediation governance, policy design and implementation within financial services with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and support implementation of scalable, reusable policies and principles that standardise remediation practices and support consistent delivery of good customer outcomes.
  • Deliver and read across to external changes impacting Customer Duty.
  • Oversee the delivery and operationalisation of remediation policies across internal teams.
  • Gather and prepare regulatory outputs to ensure correct controls and oversight in place to deliver as intended.
  • Ensure policies are designed with the customer in mind, balancing regulatory compliance with customer needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of remediation in addressing customer harms, reviewing policy as required to improve customer experiences.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, reusable policies to support safe and effective remediation strategies.
  • Ensure policies align with regulatory expectations, governance frameworks and internal standards.

Developing Our People

As a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.

  • Rectification design & delivery experience within financial services
  • Proven skills in problem-solving, data analysis, attention to detail and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory agenda
  • Keen attention to detail ensuring accuracy, clarity and regulatory compliance

It is not essential but it would be great if you have

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of the Motor Finance industry
  • Risk and compliance qualifications
