Join the Close Brothers Wholesale Finance Team where you will work closely with management, sales and the new business administration teams to support with the day to day administration and processing of new business deals for our relationship customers within Close Leasing.
Our ideal team member will have previous experience in liaising directly with customers to maximise funding opportunities with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Process all associated documentation for new business transactions on the ALFA lease management system.
- To check all finance documentation for new transactions are correct and adherence to credit sanction has been met, to ensure full compliance with current legislation and credit policies.
- Checking and producing pricing reports against accepted models to ensure the correct profitability on the transaction.
- To help support the team with additional tasks as required to maintain the smooth running of the office.
- Ensure prompt and professional answering of the phone and handling of queries.
- Provide a first point of contact for customer queries ‘in life’ for the Wholesale Finance customer base.
- Appropriate scanning and filing of documents to ensure our obligations under GDPR are met.

- A questioning mind in relation to both documentation and processes to help the department develop and refine.
- Tenacity to pick up problems quickly and solve them within a structured environment.
- Understanding of Excel and simple / intermediate calculations.
- Experience and a willingness to work to KPIs and SLAs agreed within the team.
- Strong knowledge of general level maths.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks on a daily basis in a busy role.
- Capable of adapting to different working situation when required.
It is not essential but it would be great if you have
- Previous knowledge and experience of the Financial Services industry or a busy professional office working to deadlines in a high-performing team.
