Join the Close Brothers Invoice Finance (CBIF) team located in Manchester. You will work alongside Client Managers to deliver innovative funding solutions and outstanding customer service to our clients in the Commercial Portfolio (funds in use up to £3M). The role involves customer‑facing responsibilities, and we value experience in the invoice finance world as well as excellent communication, prioritisation and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-hand support for client managers with effective handling of client queries, requests, internal administrative tasks and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure an excellent standard of service is provided at all times.
  • Accurately process client payment requests on the day of receipt and ensure that any overpayments are in accordance with an approved authority.
  • Process any changes to clients terms and conditions and ensure they are accurately documented on the client file.
  • Process relevant fees, reports and documentation in relation to client terminations.
  • Review IDeal dashboard and liaise with clients on any reconciliation variances.
  • Assist with the new business/onboarding process, especially with system set up and client training.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in a client‑facing role, ideally within the Invoice Finance industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of prioritising workload.
  • Team player who can also manage individual tasks.

Preferred

  • Obtained or working towards an ABFA qualification to Foundation level.
