Join the Close Brothers Asset Leasing Team as an Area Sales Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business to meet sales targets as part of the Manufacturing Division. The position is field-based, covering a region across the West Midlands, including Birminghamshire, Coventry, Worcestershire, and Northamptonshire. Our ideal team member will be able to demonstrate the ability to organize, manage, and deliver their own customer contact strategy.
Responsibilities
- Proactively source sales within the allocated geographical area by prospecting existing customers, sourcing new customers, or through dealer introducers.
- Be self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed targets through financing and related products.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
- Act as a contact between the company and its markets, negotiating terms, closing sales, and gathering market and customer information.
- Provide accurate, rapid quotations and relevant information to customers to close deals.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the company\'s customer base and ensure a strong presence.
- Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts, staying aware of new products and competition.
Experience in the Asset Finance Industry or customer-facing roles in Construction, Recycling, Engineering, or Print industries is preferred.
Experience in a customer-facing sales environment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are essential.
Sales-driven with the ability to plan and manage own activities and contact strategies.
