Join the Close Brothers Credit Risk Team where you will undertake new business surveys of prospective clients and make recommendations as to their suitability for a Sales Finance facility while also undertaking audits of the existing client portfolio to ensure that Close Brothers Invoice Finance funding remains secure, facilities are correctly administered, pertinent issues are identified and suitable recommendations are made for protecting Close Brothers’ funding and security.

Working as part of the Credit Risk team our ideal team member will have previous experience in presenting survey and audit findings and analysis to colleagues, in addition to other stakeholders as required, in a clear and concise manner with excellent analytical, verbal and written skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To undertake a thorough review of all the relevant aspects of the prospective client’s business, producing timely, accurate and concise reports with reasoned findings & recommendations.

  • To ensure that all potential issues including industry risks, economic trends, fraudulent activity and security issues are clearly identified and reported at survey/audit.
  • Contribute to the enhancement & efficiency of the team’s processes and procedures.
  • To book audits with clients promptly, with every effort made to minimise ‘lost’ working days and to prioritise audits according to Audit Procedures.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
  • A career background in Invoice Finance, and specifically client audit and/or survey.
  • An ability to work freely as well as part of a team.
  • A full UK Driving License.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
  • Familiar with commonly used accounting software and IT packages.
  • ABFA Diploma/Certificate.
  • AAT.
  • A chartered or Certified Accountant.
