Join the Close Brothers HR Team where you will be responsible for managing and delivering a number of compensation projects, plans and processes for colleagues within Close Brothers, including governance of sales and business specific incentive schemes, job architecture/evaluation and delivery of the annual compensation review process. Working as part of the Reward team our ideal team member will have previous experience in ensuring that all employee sales schemes are incentivising the correct behaviours and outcomes and are compliant with all regulatory and legislative requirements with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare papers for the Bank-wide Sales Incentives Steerco meetings.
  • Maintain the sales incentives governance framework and liaise with sales incentives scheme owners in the businesses to ensure adherence to it.
  • Own the annual sales incentive schemes review, for the approval of the Bank-wide Sales Incentives Steerco.
  • Oversee the implementation and end-to-end management of business-specific long-term incentive plans, covering grant and vesting processes, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Plan agenda, conduct research and draft papers for the Head of Reward & HR Infrastructure to review, in preparation for the Remuneration Committee.
  • Prepare and review datasets for annual pay survey submission process, including job matching, analysis of the results and support to the business on ad-hoc benchmarking requirements.
  • Deliver market data and salary structure analysis as required, supporting alignment of employee pay with external market benchmarks.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Extensive reward exposure within financial services.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects and processes concurrently, ensuring effective planning and preparation, delivered on time and of high quality.
  • Delivered annual compensation reviews within financial services.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with senior managers and Board level.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Knowledge of sales incentive schemes and executive compensation.
  • Knowledge of the legislative, regulatory and compliance requirements for UK listed companies.
  • Experience of managing compensation systems, including use of compensation review systems/platforms.
  • Experience of data analysis and compensation strategy.
  • An appreciation of how to apply AI to enhance compensation delivery.
