Join the Close Brothers Procurement Team where you will be responsible for leading the Group's Procurement Operations and Third Party Risk Management capability, ensuring that all supplier onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, risk monitoring and contract management activities are delivered effectively and in line with regulatory requirements.

Working as part of the Third Party Risk & Governance team our ideal team member will have previous experience in providing end-to-end oversight of third party risk across the organisation, including ownership of supporting systems, data, reporting and management information, while maintaining a forward-looking appreciation of evolving regulatory and legal obligations with excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and embed the Third Party Risk Management enhancement plan as established with Group Risk & Control Committee, and ensure continuous improvement moving forwards
• Design and update the TPM framework (policy, standards and procedures) including continuous improvement and ensuring sufficient training and guidance materials for the full Procurement & Third Party Risk team and business stakeholders.
• Ensure that third party risk procedures are robust and operationally efficient, complementary to wider procurement and business processes and governance.
• Horizon scanning to remain ahead of evolving regulation and legislation, attending industry forums to gain insights and support programmes to deliver change as a result of new third party regulatory requirements.
• Responsibility for the execution of all tier 2 & 3 spend; including execution of approvals and e-signatures.
• Lead a high performing, engaged team, and sponsor people initiatives within the team.
• Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

• Proven experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Extensive experience designing, embedding and operating third-party management and risk frameworks.
• A strong understanding of Third Party Risk Management regulation, including PRA, FCA, EBA and CBI requirements for material arrangements and outsourcing.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain effective third-party risk processes, compliance monitoring, control testing, issue management and supply chain assurance.
• Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder environments, influencing senior stakeholders and securing buy-in for change.
• Expertise in using systems, data and management information to drive efficiency, help decision-making and deliver insightful reporting.

• Commercial awareness and appreciation of the Financial Services industry
• An appreciation of technology solutions and admin management
