Join the Close Brothers Risk Team where you will be responsible for providing oversight and assurance of remediation data, working closely with Data Engineers to ensure data populations, customer segmentation, and data builds are complete, accurate, and aligned to approved remediation journeys and principles. Working as part of the Risk team, our ideal team member will have previous experience in ensuring data used in remediation activity supports fair customer outcomes and meets governance and regulatory expectations, including Consumer Duty and DISP with excellent communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide independent oversight and assurance of remediation data populations and segmentation.
- Ensure data builds align with approved remediation scope, journeys, and customer treatment principles.
- Review and challenge data logic, assumptions, exclusions, and segmentation rules.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to confirm requirements are correctly implemented.
- Ensure remediation data outputs are suitable for downstream delivery, communications, and redress.
- Maintain clear audit trails for data decisions, changes, and approvals.
- Experience working with data in remediation or customer harm environments.
- Strong understanding of data population, segmentation, and quality controls.
- Ability to review and challenge complex data logic and assumptions.
- Strong governance and control mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of how data supports fair customer outcomes.
