Join Close Brothers Treasury Finance Team where you will be responsible for the management of the Treasury systems from a finance perspective, leading process improvements for the Treasury Finance team. You will also be involved in the day‑to‑day financial control process for the treasury and securitisation structures (SPVs), testing and implementing system improvements, process automation and any ad‑hoc requests as and when required by the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Treasury system and take lead in validating system improvements from a finance perspective
- Develop reporting functionality in conjunction with system management
- Actively drive improvements (both processes and systems) for the team, representing the team on relevant forums and committees
- Document key processes in a clear and concise way
- Own the statutory reporting, quarterly regulatory reporting, management information production and day‑to‑day finance control processes for the Treasury and securitisation structures
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
- Educated to degree level or qualified through experience.
- ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, competent at working with large volumes of data
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work to and effectively manage tight deadlines
- Ability to proactively identify risks and drive resolutions forward
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:
- Previous knowledge and experience of accounting requirements within the Financial Services sector, or a strong desire to learn
- Experience of working with SAP (ECC and SA40)
- Previous experience of working with Treasury systems, e.g. T24 / TMS
