The Next Generation Lending Operation (NGLO) Programme Trainer will play a key role in delivering high-quality training to support the successful rollout of the NGLO programme. This hands-on role will focus on ensuring all operational colleagues are fully equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to operate effectively within the new NGLO platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design & deliver high-quality training sessions (classroom and virtual) to business colleagues as part of the NGLO rollout, ensuring all content is engaging, accessible and aligned with operational needs.
- Collaborate with the NGLO platform provider to co-design, review and adapt training materials, user guides, reference documents, ensuring alignment with system functionality and operational requirement.
- Support the design, preparation and updating of training materials, user guides and job aids to reflect new NGLO processes and systems.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, coaches and team leaders to identify learning needs and tailor delivery to ensure consistent understanding across teams.
- Monitor learner progress and confidence levels, escalating development needs where appropriate to ensure readiness for live operation.
- Gather feedback from delegates and stakeholders to inform continuous improvement of training content and delivery methods.
- Support the embedding of a coaching and continuous learning culture within the Customer Support function.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs and evaluation results to evidence completion and learning impact.
- Attend programme and operational meetings to provide updates on training delivery progress, upcoming activity, and key observations from learners.
- Attend leadership meetings monthly to provide an update on training activity and key focus areas for the upcoming month.
- Support in managing the relationship with key stakeholders to drive and maintain a coaching and development culture.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to support continuous improvement across the operation.
- Represent the NGLO Programme Team in the wider business through engagement with key stakeholders at all levels including the Customer Forum and 3rd Party business.
- Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
- Proven experience delivering training in a fast-paced customer support or financial services environment.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to adapt delivery style to suit different audiences.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate and engage colleagues during periods of change.
- Confident using IT systems and software, including MS Office and online training tools.
- Team player with a proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to create excellent working relationships.
- Able to think on feet and use initiative to solve problems and deliver solutions.
- Experience of working and delivering in a customer focused environment.
- Confidence working in a fast paced, project driven environment where adaptability and initiative is key.
