Join the Close Brothers Broker & Professional Solutions (BPS) team where you will deliver exceptional service to our customers, working to understand their needs and exceed their expectations wherever possible. Based in our Manchester office, you’ll bring experience in customer services, ideally within B2B banking/lending, along with strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
- Receive enquiries by email or telephone, addressing these effectively and in a timely manner.
- Process all requests, where required, for in-life tasks including settlement quotes, agreement settlement, reschedules, process card payments, refunds and updates to account information plus other activity required as and when requested.
- Ensure all requests are processed in compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and SLAs.
- Address Customer complaints in accordance with policy.
- Ensure all company systems, including ALFA, Salesforce (including Middle Office) are kept updated with relevant Customer information and to agreed data quality standards.
- Respond promptly and accurately to general sales requests or queries.

- Experience of providing excellent Customer support.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proven exposure to working proactively and taking initiative.
- An ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, quick to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
- Numerate with analytical ability.
It is not essential but it would be great if you have:
- Previous knowledge and experience of the Financial Services Industry and in similar operational or customer facing roles.
- Previous knowledge and experience of the Asset Finance industry.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Products.
