Join the Close Brothers Business Finance Team where you will deliver an efficient and consistent service whilst creating a positive relationship with our brokers and driving up conversion rates.
Working as part of the Broker Solutions team our ideal team member will have previous experience in being the initial and primary contact for brokers on the proposal/customer journey with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Work in tandem with the Broker Development Managers (External Sales) to provide exceptional service to our Brokers.
- Engage with Brokers via telephone and email to address enquiries, resolve issues, and provide outstanding assistance.
- Provide assistance to our brokers and our internal Credit and Operation teams with processing of new proposals, ensuring full implementation of ‘Triage’ Process.
- Strive to exceed performance metrics and business SLA’s, including proposal submissions and conversion rates.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using our internal systems.
- Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
- The ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments.
- Proven experience in customer service, relationship management or a related role.
- Proficiency in handling customer enquiries and resolving issues with a customer‑centric approach.
- A strong attention to detail.
- Numerate and analytical ability.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other customer support tools is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Previous knowledge of the Financial Services industry and in a similar customer facing role.
