The cherry blossomed adorned conservatory features a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space in summer months and in winter months it is transformed at night by candles, starlight and a crackling fire.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Maitre D' who is service oriented to join our team at Clos Maggiore, one of London’s most romantic restaurants. Our Maitre D' will be overseeing the reception team and will play a pivotal role in the achievement of strategic departmental goals, especially in guest satisfaction.
Our Host team are entrusted with ensuring our guests' dining experience is memorable by creating a lasting first and last impression. The ideal candidate will be someone with excellent communication skills, charismatic, and have high standards of customer service.
Role:- To welcome guests on arrival, and seat them accordingly.
- Interacting with guests and conveying feedback to the management team.
- Having a thorough knowledge of the products offered by the restaurant.
- Effectively communicating and prioritising tasks whilst maintaining an oversight of the restaurant and table plan according to the reservations booked.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant, in a similar position.
- Knowledge of OpenTable and Fork.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Displaying a graceful personality, a people person.
