Your role at Clorox:

The AMEA P&A Manager is a strategic partnering role in the AMEA Finance team, working with cross-functional teams as the finance lead for key initiatives across innovation, revenue growth management and supply chain optimisation. It requires the provision of quality financial insights and reporting to support regional growth, margin improvement and long-term profitability. Reporting into the Senior FP&A Manager, this role will also support the end-to-end financial planning, forecast and performance management for consolidated AMEA. The position will collaborate across geographies and functions to drive alignment and consistency in our financial processes and accuracy in reporting/systems data. The role requires oversight of the performance of AMEA minority share joint ventures in Egypt and Korea. Effective communication, attention to detail and strong analytical capability will be required as well as adaptability across time zones.

In this role, you will:

  • Financial Planning, Forecasting and Performance Management
    • Delivery of Annual Budget, IR Guidance Reviews, MYP and quarterly forecasting processes
    • Ensure alignment, consistency, and quality of planning across AMEA region
    • Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, assumptions, and planning discipline
    • Coordinate and consolidate regional submissions for corporate and regional reporting requirements
    • Distil the drivers of financial performance across varied markets with differing product categories, economic environments, brands and currencies.
    • Integrator for minority share joint ventures (JVs) in Egypt and Korea; oversight of forecasts by the JV partners, delivering key drivers of performance and ensuring Clorox impact is reflected in P&Ls
  • Financial Control and Coordination
    • Ensuring Clorox Corporate controls compliance in quarterly reporting and completing internal controls for JV Memo.
    • Work closely with AMEA Controllers and regional Finance teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of financials
    • Oversee alignment between planning, actuals and reporting outputs
  • Commercial Business Partnering
    • Act as the finance partner to the AMEA Sales Director supporting Club Acceleration plans, providing financial oversight on Club negotiations, pricing decisions, promotional strategies, and distribution expansion.
    • Lead the reporting and tracking of Innovation launches and distribution expansion with clear profitability road maps
    • Evaluate AMEA A&SP and customer investments to ensure strong ROI and alignment with strategic growth priorities.
  • Transformation Project Lead
    • Represent AMEA region and partnering with Corporate and regional Finance Teams on transformation and process redesign efforts
    • Leading AMEA enhancements to reporting capabilities, dashboards, usage of AI, and integrated planning.
    • Driving and supporting regional teams with Anaplan and CFIN systems alignment.
  • Strategic Project Lead
    • Lead Strategic projects for AMEA/Asia providing financial and strategic guidance:
    • Perform best quality financial analysis to support new product, supply chain and pricing initiatives
    • Actively participate on cross-functional and regional business initiatives that require financial input
    • Conduct 3+ project year and fiscal year analysis including industry standard discounted cash flow, IRR, NPV, Payback and Sensitivity Analysis as needed
    • Ensure financial accuracy, identify and mitigate risks and highlight opportunities to senior management and FDs prior to launch recommendation
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to assess project feasibility, monitor progress, and update key stakeholders

What we look for:

  • Extensive experience of broad-based financial and management accounting responsibilities
  • Focus on management reporting, planning and forecasting and project financial analysis
  • Experience in a large FMCG is highly desirable
  • Strong drive, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Strong personal initiative and self-starter
  • Strategic planning experience preferable

Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced Excel data manipulation and analysis skills
  • Fluency in usage and navigation of BI dashboards and cloud-based planning and ERP platforms.
  • Strong computer literacy is essential, particularly across all Microsoft Office packages
  • Attention to detail, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to explain complex concepts and problems in simple terms, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload to meet deadlines across different time zones
  • Excellent collaboration and ability to develop strong internal relationships and interact at all levels

Education Level/Degree:

  • Bachelor level degree; MBA desirable
  • Professional qualification experience in finance and accounting (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent experience/qualification)
