Essential:
- At least three yearsof proven strong, successful senior leadership and management experience in aschool.
- Evidence of demonstrating astrategic leadership style that is characterised by integrity, creativity,resilience and clarity.
- Experience of implementing,managing and evaluating change in a collaborative way.
- Experience of raisingstandards that have impacted positively on pupils and teaching and learning.
- Significant experience ofevaluating and using data to plan and improve pupil outcomes.
- Experience of makingeffective use of funding and other resources.
- Strong financial planningand management skills.
- Excellent communicationskills and proven ability to listen to, understand and work effectively withthe school community.
- Leading whole schoolimprovement and staff development
- Experience working withdiverse communities

Knowledge
Essential:
- An understanding of howto empower pupils and staff to excel.
- A clear understanding ofwhat makes good and outstanding teaching through a deep understanding of howpupils learn, and the ability to develop a culture where striving foroutstanding teaching and learning is central to the school’s work.
- An understanding of howto create whole-community accountability systems and implement them with thesupport of the SLT to combine data from a range of sources to maximise theachievement of pupils.
- A clear understanding ofand commitment to promoting safeguarding pupils.
- Knowledge andunderstanding of the statutory frameworks which set out their professionalduties and responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of the Headteachers’Standards 2020
- Ability to lead a pluralist Jewish ethos
- Deep knowledge of safeguarding, SEND, andstatutory frameworks
