Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sales Executive who is looking to develop a career in sales and business development. The role focuses on generating new business by identifying and engaging potential clients, building relationships, and converting opportunities into sales. You will receive full training, ongoing coaching, and clear targets to help you succeed. Starting with a clean slate, you will be responsible for building your own client base while developing valuable sales skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship management. There is a clear progression path for high performers within a growing and supportive business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate new sales opportunities
  • Research and identify prospective clients and understand their potential needs
  • Ask effective questions to understand client requirements before introducing our products and services
  • Attend client meetings, both online and in person, with support where required
  • Support client consultations, take clear briefs, and assist in preparing proposals
  • Follow up on all sales opportunities in a timely and professional manner
  • Work towards and achieve monthly sales targets
  • Look for opportunities to upsell or cross-sell where appropriate
  • Keep accurate records of sales activity and progress

Skills, Qualities, and Experience

  • 2 years of sales experience with proven track record of opening and closing cold leads
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A positive, motivated attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable speaking to new people and building relationships
  • Resilient mindset with the ability to handle setbacks and stay focused
  • Organised, proactive, and motivated by targets and results

Salary

SALARY: £25 - £30k basic salary plus uncapped bonus scheme OTE: £42k LOCATION: Hybrid Basingstoke, Hampshire
