This is a great opportunity for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join this expanding team in a brand-new role that will play a key part in protecting and enhancing the environment across the region. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of catchment management and environmental protection, helping deliver strategies that shape long-term water resource and environmental planning over the next 5–50 years.
You’ll support the delivery of major regulatory and environmental programmes that protect vital water resources while ensuring a sustainable supply of high-quality drinking water. You will play a key role in implementing the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) and contributing to statutory water resource planning activities including:
- Water Resource Management Plans
- Drought Plans
- Regional water resource planning initiatives
These programmes are critical to improving environmental performance, managing abstraction licences, and protecting ecosystems across catchments.
