We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker to provide temporary cover at a busy secondary school in Oxford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and proactive individual with previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or site support experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and securing the school premises
- Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
- Setting up rooms for school and evening activities
- Conducting regular site inspections
- Ensuring the school remains clean, safe and compliant
- Responding to minor maintenance issues as they arise
- Supporting health & safety procedures across the site
- Liaising with contractors and school staff when required
Requirements:
- Previous caretaker, maintenance or facilities experience
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (required)
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Reliable, professional and well-presented
- Available to start immediately
