We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing vehicle refurbishment business that is expanding its team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, professional workshop and play a key role in maintaining, assembling, and repairing vehicles to high standards. If you enjoy hands-on work, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in delivering quality, this could be the role for you.
The Role: You will fit and assemble vehicle components according to manufacturer and company specifications, diagnose and repair mechanical issues, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with other departments to support workflow, maintain tools and equipment, and complete jobs efficiently while upholding high standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Fitter or similar role
- Mechanical knowledge or background preferred
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in a workshop environment
Salary & Benefits:
- £32,000 per year
- 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays, plus Christmas shutdown
- Bonus and benefits package under review
- Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm
