Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)

Permanent role in Wrexham

Additional benefits:

• Company bonus (5% of annual salary) – based on performance and company performance.

The role:

Out client is recruiting a 3PL & Logistics Performance Specialist to join a dedicated team who are responsible for regional distribution excellence, 3PL management, logistics operations, and warehouse/process optimisation across Europe.

3PL & Logistics Performance Specialist responsibilities:

• Oversee and enhance 3PL partnerships, managing contracts, service level agreements, and performance evaluations.
• Lead regional logistics operations with a focus on safety, operational efficiency, and cost management.
• Develop and optimise warehouse processes, ensuring accurate inventory management and smooth material flow.
• Serve as the regional Supply Chain Safety representative, promoting compliance and best practices.
• Drive performance improvements through data analysis, KPIs, root cause analysis (RCCA), and lean methodologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align logistics operations with broader business objectives.
• Support budget planning and cost optimisation across all logistics services.

3PL & Logistics Performance Specialist requirements:

• Background in logistics with focus on warehousing, distribution or freight.
• Proficient in ERP systems , with hands‑on experience; SAP knowledge is highly desirable.
• Skilled in data analysis , leveraging databases to extract actionable insights.
• Experienced with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for logistics planning and execution.
• Demonstrated success managing suppliers and 3PL partnerships , ensuring high performance and compliance.
• Strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Occasional travel across UK and Europe
