The Role:
We’re partnering with a thriving, family-run business in Mid Wales that is looking for a motivated and confident Sales Support professional. This is an exciting opportunity to assist customers in finding the right solutions while building long-term relationships. You’ll play a key role in driving the company’s growth and enhancing brand awareness across the market.
Main duties of the Sales Support:
- Proactively engage with new and existing customers through calls to promote products and services.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture potential customer opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales team to achieve shared objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Partner with the Sales Manager to set clear, achievable goals and targets.
- Take ownership of meeting expectations and consistently delivering on agreed objectives.
- Monitor and track progress toward sales goals on a regular basis.
- Record all activities and opportunities accurately within the CRM system.
- Manage and update data to ensure the wider team has access to the most current information.
- Develop and document standardized procedures and best practices.
- Participate in performance reviews and act on constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and other departments to improve the customer experience.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management.
The Candidate:
The ideal Sales Support will have the following:
- Background in sales and/or marketing.
- The ability to pick up the phone and call current, lapsed, and new clients.
- Proficient in MS Office packages: Outlook, Excel.
- Passion for outstanding customer service and building strong relationships.
- Good listening skills with the ability to understand customer expectations.
- Team player.
- Self-motivated and driven.
