We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a busy and expanding manufacturing site in Ellesmere. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure long-term employment in a well-established company within the aggregates industry.
The Stock Controller Role –
Managing stock levels of raw materials and finished aggregates on site
Carrying out regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies
Recording inventory movement and maintaining accurate stock records
Coordinating deliveries and collections with hauliers and internal departments
Assisting with loading and unloading materials in the yard when required
Operating yard-based equipment (e.g., forklift, loading shovel – training can be provided)
Ensuring all stock is stored safely and in line with health and safety procedures
Working closely with production and logistics teams to maintain material flow
The Ideal Candidate –
Previous experience in stock control, warehouse, or yard-based roles (preferably within aggregates or heavy industry)
Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
Confident using basic computer systems or inventory software
Comfortable working in an outdoor yard environment
A proactive team player with a safety-first approach
Forklift licence or willingness to train is advantageous
