The Role:

Maintenance Engineer to work for a well-established Global Manufacturing company based in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be an addition to the Engineering Department, assisting with breakdowns and following a Planned Preventive Maintenance schedule.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Mechanical maintenance and installation, as well as electrical installation.
  • General facility maintenance and improvement of services, by sourcing and managing contractors on numerous projects.
  • Working to a schedule of maintenance activities, whilst being flexible in supporting Production and Moulding Operations day to day.
  • Basic understanding of PLC programming, enabling minor adjustments to be made to programmes.
  • Energy saving improvements and initiatives.
  • Working to a TPM schedule or attending and solving Production system breakdowns including maintenance of automation equipment.

Maintenance Engineer requirements:

  • HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Ideally, you will be qualified to the 18th Edition of the IEE regulations.
  • Creative and have good problem-solving skills to design, review and implement improvement in the construction and operations of facilities, focusing on electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
