The Role:
Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
We are seeking an accomplished HR Manager to lead the HR function across two sites, partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver a proactive, people-focused HR service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor ready to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and advise on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and capability cases.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Manage, support and develop a dedicated HR team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build strong relationships with managers across the business, coaching and developing their people management capabilities.
- Maintain a visible presence across the sites, supporting operational teams and employees alike.
- Support organisational change initiatives, workforce planning and business transformation projects.
- Drive improvements to HR policies, processes and systems to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
The candidate
The successfully appointed HR Manager will have the following skills and abilities:
- Proven HR management experience within manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong experience handling complex employee relations matters and providing commercially focused HR guidance.
- Previous experience managing, mentoring or developing HR team members.
- Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- CIPD Level 5 or above.
