Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Bishop Auckland to assist them in finding a School Caretaker ASAP. The school ideally would like to meet and train someone up before the start of the school holidays – when the role will officially begin. The ideal candidate will be willing to work split shifts to open the premises in the morning and then return in the evening to lock up.
Responsibilities- Responsible key holder – opening and closing premises, monitoring the property
- Carrying out minor repairs and maintaining premises to ensure safety
- Managing outdoor areas and general upkeep of grounds
- Use own initiative and take the lead
- Experience in building maintenance, cleaning, plumbing, or gardening
- Confident in working alone
- Provide 2 employment or educational references
- Hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
