Clockwork Education has been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in the Durham area to assist them in finding a general cover Teaching Assistant to support them from May 2026. The role will be ongoing until July 2026 at least and will involve you working 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Offering general support across the school to support pupils with all areas of the National Curriculum
  • Working independently with small groups of children and some one-to-one sessions
  • Using own initiative and the ability to change plans accordingly

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a supporting role
  • Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
  • Level 2 qualification
  • Provide 2 references, preferably from an educational background
  • Hold or be in process of holding an enhanced DBS disclosure
